One of my Favorite locations to photograph in Colorado is LOVELAND PASS. It is 12,000 ft above elevation and It looks just as beautiful in the winter as it does in the summer! On the day I photographed Kelsey and Cameren's engagement, the forecast had said 50 degrees. We were so excited, but what we didn't think about was the ski traffic on a Sunday, the avalanche warning given when we got to the top, and the horrific wind that had us spend more time in the car than out. BUT with all that, we managed to capture their sweet sweet love!!! I am so excited to share with you guys some of my favorites from their session! I hope you enjoy these as much as I do :D
& remember, don't let the weather stop you from taking the photos. rain, show, wind, sunshine... capture it all :)
A few things to know about Loveland pass
+ You do not need a permit to photograph there
+ The best time to go is late spring/summer
+ If you go in the winter, be aware of the skier's heading back. especially on a Sunday. word of advice: if you go in the winter, go during the weekdays.
+ prepare with any type of weather at 12,000 ft and enjoy every second of it :)
